Our COMMITMENT to you is

TRANSPARENCY

  • When we add your music to our catalog, we listen, tag it, and upload it. We then append "‑HMS" to the title (e.g., Going Home‑HMS) and register the song with the appropriate PRO.

    We will then register it with either BMI, ASCAP, or SESAC

  • We receive new music briefs on a weekly basis, and we are constantly scouring the Internets for creators and producers who are actively seeking to license music for their projects.

    When responding to a music brief, we compile a playlist of the best songs we think could be placed and send it to the requester.

    Sometimes we email the brief and artists submit new music that way.

  • If a music supervisor or filmmaker contacts us and expresses interest in licensing your music, we negotiate the terms of the license on your behalf. We handle upfront fees and establish appropriate term lengths, and we also provide the client with your PRO information so that backend royalties and performance payments are properly routed to you.

  • If upfront fees were agreed in the license, we invoice the client and wait for payment. After receiving the funds, we take our commission and place your share in escrow to be paid on the next quarterly pay date. Payouts are sent by Zelle or PayPal 15 days after each calendar quarter ends.

    Quarter End dates

    March 31st = April 15th Pay Date

    June 30th = July 15th Pay Date

    September 30th = October 15th Pay Date

    December 31st = Jan 15th Pay Date
